Light a Candle of Hope to
Remember or Celebrate the Life
of a Loved One Touched by Cancer

What is a Candle of Hope?

It is simply a bag that contains sand and a glowing candle to light up your message. Many people write the names of loved ones on their bag whilst others add special messages, pictures or decoration in memory of someone they have lost, or in celebration of someone who is surviving cancer.

The candles then burn into the night as a sign of Hope for Everyone

Keep the fire of hope burning by dedicating a candle to someone you wish to remember or whose courage and life you wish to honour and celebrate by donating  a minimum of £2 in the box.  You have the option of taking a plain or pre decorated bag and returning it to Okehampton Rugby Club on the night of  8th October by 7pm for it to be lit up, or return to place of purchase and it will be collected on your behalf.

The candles will be displayed around the rugby club field and will welcome back all our walkers.
